About Lianna

Lianna Levine Reisner, MSPOD, Founder & Lead Partner, is a collaborative change specialist with a passion for building thriving organizations and communities. She founded Partner for Change in 2011, integrating insights from the fields of positive psychology, organization development, community organizing, and network organizing. She was trained on the ground with innovative network organizers in Maryland, working across lines of diversity to seed change. Lianna has served in management, fundraising, and grantmaking roles in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, and she has extensive volunteer leadership experience in religious organizations, performing arts ensembles, and schools.
Lianna founded Plant Powered Metro New York and serves as its President and Network Director. She most recently served as a member of UJA-Federation of New York's Community LAB Coaching Network (formerly the SYNERGY Coaching Network), providing organizational change support to Jewish nonprofit organizations in the New York metropolitan area. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Manhattan's historic Congregation Shaare Zedek as Vice President of Community Building & Membership. She is a past president of the professional ensemble TENET Vocal Artists.
Lianna has a Master's degree from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management in Positive Organization Development and Change, as well as certificates in Emotional Intelligence, Appreciative Inquiry, and Building Sustainable Enterprises. She has a Bachelor's degree from Brandeis University. Lianna also holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell.
A classically-trained singer, Lianna draws inspiration from her experience as a performer. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and three children.
